Overview:
The B.Sc. Nursing is a four-year undergraduate professional degree program designed to produce competent, compassionate and skilled nursing professionals.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Successful completion of Higher Secondary Education (10+2) or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), and English as core subjects.
- Minimum 45% aggregate marks in science subjects (relaxation as per Government norms for reserved categories).
- Candidates from boards other than Tamil Nadu State Board must obtain an Eligibility Certificate from The Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University before admission.
- Medical fitness certificate required.
Application Procedure:
Obtain the prescribed Application Form from the college office or authorized channels.
Submit the completed form with self-attested copies of:
- SSLC (10th) Mark Sheet
- HSC (12th) Mark Sheet
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Community Certificate (if applicable)
- Migration Certificate (for out-of-state applicants)
- Eligibility Certificate (for non-HSC candidates)
- Passport-size photographs (as specified)
- Applications must be submitted before the announced deadline.
Interview & Selection:
- Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a personal interview
- Original documents must be produced for verification.
Selection is based on:
- Document verification
- Interview performance
- Fulfillment of eligibility criteria
- Seat availability
Seat Allocation:
- 60% of seats – Government Quota via centralized counselling by DME.
- 40% of seats – Management Quota filled directly by the institution as per regulations.
Application Fee:
- ₹100 (Non-refundable) – Payable in cash, demand draft, or as prescribed.
